"COMMENCEMENT EXERCISE'13" (April 11, 2013)

Finally, after a long FOUR YEARS of struggling in College Life to achieve my DREAM. I can now say that I'm HOLDING this DEGREE of "BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HOTEL & RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT"

There's so many things that I should THANK for:

       1.First, I'm very thankful to the Department of Hospitality Management (CHSI). To my Mentors who    helped me achieve my dreams, for giving their time unselfishly, for everything.

       

      2.Ofcourse, My ALMA MATER, the Central Luzon State University. (speechless).

      

      3. To my Colleagues, Classmates, Friends, Closest friends. - I'll cherished each moment I spend with all of you.

 

     

      4. To my dearest friend/bestbuds/cousin/father/bigbro/enemy/love, my Boyfriend. Thank you for your unconditional love, you're the most loving, supportive & understanding boyfriend. Salamat sa paghintay sa uwian ko sa school, sa pagsama sakin pag may dapat ako gawin, sa pagtulong sakin gumawa ng assignment/projects during my Comsci subject. :D madami pa kong dapat ipasalamat sayo, sa personal ko nalang sasabihin :)

      5.To my family who have always been very understanding and supporting me financially and emotionally, a hundred stamps of thank you notes may never be enough, but still, I earnestly and sincerely thank you for being my parents.        

      

      6. And above all, to the Almighty God, who never ceases in loving me, in providing me with His continued guidance and protection, and in showering me with angles in the form of those whom I mentioned above, THANK YOU.

Internship: Astoria Boracay

Hello! So long since I last posted here. This time, I want to share some of my experienced during my Internship at Astoria Boracay (By the way, I'm taking up Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management :D It is very important for us to know and have an experience in different hotel and restaurant operation like cleaning, serving etc. for us to be able to know what it feels like to be in that position so that when the time comes when we are finally a hotel/restaurant manager we can manage our subordinates well.

On my first 15 days of training I was assigned at Housekeeping Department. We are responsible to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of each room:

Before we start cleaning the room we need to call the Housekeeping Telephone Operator for our location. (So that they can monitor us)

 

In this picture, I replenished bathrooms amenities:soup,tissue,toothbrush,shampoo...etc.

  

 Bed making (sounds funny:D ) - the word bed making is the terminology used in hotel  which means arranging bedsheets and other beddings on bed.

 

Just because one of my favorite color is green, I took a picture in this room :)

On last few days of my training, I were assigned at Bar and Coffee Shop: "White Cafe":

My high school Graduation

As a student, the greatest gift you can give to yourself is to graduate.

On the year of 2009, I graduated my highschool at the Munoz National High School.

It feel so great as I walked up to the stage to get my diploma,after four years

of studying hard, finally this chapter of may life ended, I graduated my high school.

But, as this chapter ended, theres a new challenge in my life, The college life;))
